The tradition of things of coins arises in the interwar years and continues after World War II. Most often, these things have been given as gifts from the tradition that if you always had coins in the home you never became poor. See they were given in the hope of future prosperity.

It is made of solid copper plates with attached hinges and leg in brass.
The attached coins is Danish 5-øre and 2-øre in copper.
The box is really a great piece of craftsmanship - should be seen.
It has a faint engraving on the front.
